Go Eat Give was founded by Indian origin and Atlanta native, Sucheta Rawal. Sucheta found something missing during her quarterly vacations as an investment banker. She wanted to continue to visit countries but learn about the cultures as well. She started going on “volunteer vacations” and documenting her travels and cultural explorations on the blog. Go Eat Give was founded in 2011 with the assistance of friends who wanted travel advice and international recipes.

Soon readers from around the world got inspired by the stories on GoEatGive.com and asked for advice on how they could incorporate giving into their daily lives. Cooking classes and volunteer travel workshops were our first service offerings.

Go Eat Give became a 501(c)(3) registered non-profit in 2012.  Since summer 2012, Go Eat Give has offered Atlanta residents to go global locally through monthly Destination Dinners. We have taken groups on memorable trips around the world and are continuously supporting grassroots nonprofits, immigrant owned restaurants, and sustainable businesses in the travel industry.
