South Lake Tahoe is the largest city along Lake Tahoe. With skiing, boating, biking, blackjack, ice skating, swimming, shopping and bar hopping, South Lake Tahoe is a bustling town that offers something for all ages. From campgrounds, romantic lodges, local Bed and Breakfasts, to casino resorts, there are all sorts of accommodations available in the area. Although, if you do want to stay in a casino resort, you may want to use sites like Neuecasinos.de/ beforehand to brush up on your skills so that you can play against the pros in the casino lounges. You can’t beat the location and views at the Lakeshore Lodge and Spa. All of the rooms at this rustic lodge come equipped with gas fireplaces, kitchens and a balcony directly overlooking the mystical Lake Tahoe. They also have an outdoor pool and hot tub so you never have to leave sight of the lake.

Once you awaken your senses at the Lakeshore Lodge, nourish your body with delicious food at Base Camp Pizza located right in the heart of Heavenly Village. The restaurant serves some of the area’s most amazing salads, pastas, and pizzas made fresh to order. Chill out on the outdoor patio during happy hour and listen to live music while sipping on a hot apple cider spiked with moonshine. For after-dinner entertainment, head over to the Improv at Harveys Lake Tahoe for a comedy show, grab a drink at Cabo Wabo Cantina and mix with the locals, or walk over to MontBleu Casino and try your luck at the gambling tables. Several venues along Highway 50 offer live music and entertainment, especially during the weekends and all through the summer. It might also be worth noting that if you are planning to visit gambling tables around the area, whether it’s your first time or not, there are some things to know before gambling in a casino, especially if you are on vacation in a different area as the laws could be drastically different.

Several trails take you through well preserved wooded natural forests and along the beach where you can see the real splendor of this winter wonderland. During off season, you may not be able to hear a sound or see another tourist for miles. Once you get hungry, grab a lobster po-boy at Beacon Bar and Grill at Camp Richardson.
