Natural landscapes, beautiful cascades, majestic waterfalls, diverse vegetation and fauna of various species are some of the charms that tourists can find in the national parks of Brazil. Here are the best ones as claimed by Brazil Ministry of Tourism.

Chapada dos Veadeiros National Park: consolidated as an important destination for Ecotourism and Adventure Tourism in Brazil, declared a World Natural Heritage by UNESCO in 2001, is the habitat of endangered species such as pampas deer, the deer in the swamp, the jaguar, the wolf, among others. It features rock crystals between the regions flora, providing a unique spectacle. Visitors can perform various activities such as hiking, canoeing, tree climbing, abseiling and cultural tourism.

Serra dos Órgãos National Park: It is nationally known for the wealth of historical and architectural heritage, the mountains are the birthplace of mountaineering and the exuberance of Brazilian Atlantic Forest. In the this National Park, visitors can make the trails in nature, especially the crossing of Petrópolis / Teresópolis, Mozart Catão Trail and Postcards Trail, while still contemplating the nature observing geological formations, flora and landscape.

National Marine Park of Fernando de Noronha: It is considered a paradise, with 16 white sand beaches, clear warm waters, banks of colorful fish and dolphins. Noronha is the favorite spot of scuba diving lovers. Crystal clear water provides a visibility of 50 meters, allowing visitors to meet 15 of 18 coral species on the planet. Islands, promenades and beaches are the standouts among the types of attractions offered by the destination.

Santarém: In the “Pearl of the Tapajos,” there are an infinite number of beaches of white sand with clear and blue-green water. There are also waterfalls, among rivers, streams and river rapids. Flooded forests, trails through the forest to the mountains. All this just a few minutes from downtown, where historic buildings and architectural wealth is preserved and the village of Alter-do-Chão, with a beach of Rio Tapajós River, whose main attraction is the Island of Love.
