Meet your yoga instructor: Hi, my name is Jason Anderson. I’m a 500 ERYT based in Atlanta, Georgia. I have been teaching yoga for 6 years full time and currently teach at Atlanta Hot Yoga in Buckhead & Vinings studios, Midtown Athletic Club, and Ember Yoga. I played basketball at the University of Florida on a full athletic scholarship, was a member of the NCAA Final Four, then played professionally overseas in Europe and South America before finding yoga. In 2012, I lead my first teacher training program from which I graduated 12 students. I have recently studied with Shiva Rea in Chakra, Elemental and Rasa Vinyasa which has helped to refine Calmtivity Yoga.
I have been featured in Yoga Journal twice, most recently for an article and video on “Boosting Your Awareness” as a description and illustration of the work I do with athletes. I have also been spotlighted in Mantra Magazine as well as Best Self Atlanta as one of the leading fitness experts in Atlanta.

boone4I am currently conducting sessions with the NBA Atlanta Hawks and top ranked Wheeler High School basketball teams as their Yoga instructor in the concept of CALMTIVITY (Calm-Activity) Yoga. I am also currently leading 2 private teacher training programs.
These concepts are simply guiding sport, activity or life athletes in the very empowering art of being present yet cool; serene yet aggressive; strong yet tranquil; in motion yet graceful. As well as exposing, letting go of and eliminating our fear based self to liberate our brighter selves.
