What started as a traditional North American holiday is now also celebrated by millions of immigrants and ethnic groups who call the United States home. The 2013 Taste of Atlanta was not just for foodies. Although it was one of the largest food festivals in the South and showcased Atlanta’s best chefs, restaurants and spirits, the event was far more than a food tasting party. This Lake Placid is a beautiful vacation village located in the Adirondack mountains […]

Chef Nicholas Walker of Cobb Galleria Centre invited me to celebrate Spring with him in his kitchen. He presented a multiple-course lunch that depicted a transition of winter into spring using. Some dishes leaned towards the coziness of winter, other towards a gentle lightness of spring.

Last week we celebrated Destination Lebanon at Nicola’s restaurant in Atlanta. Everyone who attended this event had a fabulous time, mostly attributed to Nicola H. Ayoub, the owner of Nicola’s who is always smiling and trying to entertain a crowd. It is hard to look at Nicola and not to smile yourself.
